Driving Directions

Driving from from Richmond/San Pablo: Driving south on I-80 take the Ashby Exit (exit 10). Continue on Asby over the freeway. Continue past San Pablo Dr. Turn Right on Sacramento St. right where the brick wall ends. Continue down Sacramento St. Once you pass Adeline st, it’ll turn into Market. We’re on the left hand side in a building with “4400” above the door.

Driving from San Francisco: Get on the Bay Bridge and head over the bay, (wave to Treasure Island). After you get off the bridge, use the right 3 lanes to take I-580 E exit toward 24. Don’t get on 24! Stay on I-580 east. Get off on the San Pablo Ave exit. It can be a little strange you’ll drive down next to the Home Depot. Turn right on Watts St and then immediately right onto Peralta St. Then turn left on 35th st and left again on Adeline.  You’ll head north under the I-580 now. Continue about 1/3 a mile and then turn right on 40th before the Shangri-La. Turn Left on Market. We’re on the right hand side in a building with “4400” above the door.

Driving from Rockridge, East Berkeley: From CA-24, take the Telegraph exit and turn left on Telegraph Ave and head under the freeway (I’d actually stop at Zachary’s Pizza before coming here. Best pizza!). Turn right on 55th next to the Chevron. Stay of 55th for a while and then turn right on Market st. We’re on the left hand side in a building with “4400” above the door.

Driving from Oakland:  From I-980, head north and take exit for Martin Luther King Junior Way. Merge and continue on M.L.K. way and turn left on th 55th st. Turn left at the second cross street on to Market St. We’re on the left hand side in a building with “4400” above the door.

Just had ACME install a curved stair chair lift and all went very nicely. From Tim who initially came out a couple of months ago, to the installers, to Kasey in the office when I had a warranty clarification question. All were professional, kind and considerate, and all handled any bump in the road promptly and to my complete satisfaction. Recommend Acme highly.

Residential Elevators San Francisco Bay Area

A Home Elevator can be the right option for your home. It really depends on the type of home you are building and what you want from your new home. If you’re more than one story and are building the home you want to stay in the rest of your life then it does make sense to design for a home elevator. We have over 2,000 elevators installed throughout the Bay Area. but we also do quite a bit of remodels for home elevators. Plenty of homes, even the ones in the areas I mentioned, were built without an elevator.

In San Francisco, most home elevators travel 4 stories. We have a few that do 6 stories! There are a ton of options as well: size, speed, finishes. We can make it a very unique elevator or very standard elevator. It’s up to you. It can come with glass gates, a tambour sliding gate instead of a collapsable wood fold gate, hydraulic or cable operation, and even stainless steel walls.

Our typical customer is building a new home or retrofitting an existing house. We’ll work with you, your Architect or your General Contractor to make sure your Home Elevator is right for you.

Wheelchair Lifts San Francisco

Commerical Wheelchair Lift Las Vegas

Effective and reliable, our Wheelchair Lifts in the Bay Area are usually the best fit for your home or for your business location. We’ve been installing and servicing wheelchair lifts as long as we’ve been in business. These make sense in a variety of locations but we typically install in homes, churches, a facility, or retail. Wheelchair lifts are a great solution when your budget doesn’t allow an elevator or if an elevator doesn’t make sense. The production times are shorter and installation times shorter as well. What matters most to our customers is that the lift is supplied quickly and will work everytime you push the button. They are either hydraulic or ACME screw drive operated. We can also supply the enclosure for the lift if you need us too.
