ACME Elevators are available in a wide range of solid-wood interior panels of cherry, red oak or mahogany; decorative laminate is also available in 24 colors. Our elevators have optional glass side walls and skylights. They also have recessed incandescent lights or a chandelier of brass and beveled glass. Cab interior options are fixtures in brushed or polished stainless steel or bronze, as well as etched and specialty finishes.Safe and Reliable
ACME elevators are equiped with safety features that ensure safe and reliable operation.
In the event of a power failure, a battery-operated safety feature makes sure passengers are never stranded between floors.
Emergency lighting comes on and the controlled safety descent feature automatically takes the car to the lowest floor or another pre-selected floor (some models).
A locking device on the door prevents it from opening while the elevator is traveling between floors.
All landing doors are mechanically locked and can only be released when the elevator is at that floor.
